This site is designed as a guide to the Gold Coast that is useful to both domestic and foreign travellers. It is created by Gold Coast based web developer Phil Hoile of www.goldcoastlogin.com.au the donator of the Save Our Spit .com web site.

It is aimed at giving both visitors and accommodation owners/managers a better value web experience.

Before you start throwing the - not another accommodation system stones! There are some simple techniques revealled to maximise occupancy rate throughout this page (they are marked with INFO).

This site has different levels for accommodation managers/owners.

We also include the phone number and web address for direct access for our visitors.
This now includes a live booking system that allows the customer to book rooms on a unique live calendar.

Booking Manager
After one of our customers on the Gold Coast asked us to create a booking system for their units at Q1 Resort on the Gold Coast we researched what was available and found very few true systems that allowed customers to easily choose dates live in real time.

We approached the problem from the customers point of view - they need to know if they are booked or not instantly. Waiting for someone to email a reply or only being able to book at restricted times does not cut it.

There must be problems with some of the systems out there:-

• Slow
• Unreliable
• Require the user to exit your site and book a room (easiest way to scare off a potential customer)
• Expensive
• Not able to export or transfer bookings to other systems

It is straight forward to be able to get one system to update another system yet few if any actually do it. Most industries do this as standard.

Our system is flexible and easy to use and sits on your website. For example if you want to add rooms to your system during busy periods you can easily add them and help others sell their holiday accommodation. These extra rooms can be switched on or off depending on your occupancy. This has the obvious benefit of maximising your Occupancy rate and helping others.
